Ive been off the detailing thing a while and lost touch a little bit.
Now I have been looking to buy some new pads aswell as polish to suit and get the most from my efforts.
Is there any kits or combination of products that some one can recommend me to buy?
I have a 7424 DA Polisher with 6...
Mine is like this and im on 9 months, no waxing, no polishing, nothing but foam and a rinse wipe down.
Although I am getting fine marks like in the picture, I do reload every month with project32 inbetween washes.
Just polish the headlights up, its easy enough and there are alot of guides on here for how to do it.
Personally, I used a buffer with some tooth paste (fine compound) and it bought them up brilliantly..
Hold on, your buying sound deadening to stop exterior trim panels from rattling?
Take the trim panel off and put some draft excluder on the inside (sticky backed foam tape) then put the panel back on.
You dont need to go gun ho on covering every panel to stop the rattles. Sound deadening does...

Valver, dont know what to say as when I spoke to Royal Mail they said if its aerosol cans on a mass delivery they will not deliver and will advise it to go via their couriers aka Parcel Force.
Right then, so who owns a rolling road? Lets get 2 box standard rs clio's, run one on vpower and the other on vpower+ then do a rolling road and see if there is any actual power changes?
IF... If there is a big change in MPG for the same price it may be worth buying it, I did a test some months...
MORNING...
Right then, I have added some new songs to itunes via some mp3's i have.
Now every time i go to play these songs, it will get upto 50% of the way through and then skip to the next song, some times it will skip after 20 seconds. Now the playcount is not going up so its not recorded...
No major movement mate, lots of people talking about it but no one is actually wanting to buy it.
Tip for anyone buying it, go to plastidip.co.uk and buy from the directly, its alot cheaper than the £18 per can from the likes of Amazon or eBay.
For people asking about other colours, I will wait till the numbers come up with what is on offer and then make a cheeky enquiry as to what else we could buy at the same time.
Its usually one can per wheel for a few coats, no special primer needed just an IPA wipedown and it will stick.
Its standard for delivery as it has to go via courier, Royal Mail refuse to take delivery of aerosols from them incase they explode in a warm/hot van.
This is £9 for the first can sold.
I would like to gather as much interest and see how much more discount per can for say 50+? Plus its on all colours, not just one.
Morning all
I have been looking to do another GB for a while and chose Plastidip. I am just trying to see how many people would want which colour and how many.
With the people I have been talking too, I have already secured £9 per can with £4 delivery or 2 cans with £5 delivery.
Now this...
Polishing DA pads more to the point.
I am used to using some old pads i have but can not remember what colours are for which polish, can orange hex pads still be used for the polish stage where as the reds are more finishing/glaze?
I only use the 3" pads as I feel like I am always changing...
