Yep i saw it - South Yorkshire Police wasnt it? I felt sorry for the bloke in the 306 who hit the 17 year old down that dark road. Felt sorry for the kid too but imagine having that in your mind every time you close your eyes

^^^ How did I miss this thread?! pmsl
Only thing im starting to take offence to is James constant dig at the Williams being old and rusty. Bored of that now. Mine has no rust on it whatsoever. Maybe thats why its not the fastest thing around lol..
I wasnt on the cs stand.. but that is a bit sh*tty. Unlucky there, I would have at least expected whoever did it to leave a sorry note or something - specially since it was the club event!
Thats the thing with Trax - its not all about stick on plastic bits - its about car clubs getting together, having a good time, and if youre up for it a bit of track driving. Its for the enthusiasts, the modifiers and the drivers amongst us.
Greenlight sent my renewal letter - with my premuim having increased £500 - after 2 years being with them, and no accidents or claims or anything.
Not so great for me. Tesco beat them by £500 - and cover was for fully comp and not tpft as offered by Greenlight.
Some insurers will continue your policy unless you tell them NOT to.. sneaky way of keeping your money if you forget to ring them
Other insurers wait til they get the go ahead from you though - id say let them know, just incase :)
If you have driven a Williams and still think its the same car, then no - dont waste your cash on one, let someone else who knows what they are buying have it.
No speed limit, you pay your toll fee (ok you buy your ticket, like getting out of a carpark), the barriers go up and away you go, as fast or as slow as you like. Beware the coaches full of old people and the white van drivers :D (yes, both were on track when I was there lol)
Just a quick note - Some headunits dont function properly mounted on the incline - I found Pioneer work brilliantly - but the Panasonic headunit I had didnt want to work at an angle greater than 30 degrees - which it is in the MK1
Ask the guys at the ICE store before you buy (or e-mail them...
^^ lol
I couldnt get the plastic bit off mine, ended hack sawing the bastid off! No way was it budging, even had 2 blokes trying with the mole grips too..
