Standard turbo on a MK1 astra? nooo, we put it in, along with the roll cage, brakes replumbed, seam welding etc.etc.etc :)

We have a MK1 Astra rally car with a turbo engine in it insured with Frizzell, so dont think they really care about mods lol.. premium is only £450 fully comp too..

The driving experience is the same throughout the Williams range.

lol @ Jon :D Had to get a new box for mine as well. Changed the cambelt/fanbelt, filters, plugs, dizzy etc. Also wheel bearings, brake discs. Think thats been it in the last 2 years... the box was the most expensive thing to go :@

Ah, the wonderful rear brake bias valve... Always scares me since Adi ended up rolling his silver valver because of the same problem :confused:

My other halfs insurance went up £11 after declaring 11 penalty points (a 5 and a 6 for motorway speeding) Depends on your insurer I guess!

The thing is, when any kind of lights are on (side, head, main, whatever) and the internal dial lights are on, the display is fine, and it does light up and i can clearly see what temp it is, but when the lights are off, the display is faded so much i cant see it. Ill pull ti apart anyway and...
