Don’t usually bother with spotted posts, however I couldn’t help but notice a new neighbour has moved in 200 yards away, with four 182’s parked on the drive!🤣

Fresh MOT, ABS sensor replaced with a Steering angle reset!
Insured her, all taxed up, and hit the road. She’s mint, sounds wicked, strong pull at 5k.
Going to get the oil changed this week, good to be back again🤠
My 182 washer jets are terrible, and failed the MOT on this among other items.
I’ve took out the bottle, and washed it all out, I have purchased new jets, 2 pumps and new bung rubbers.
However the wiring looks to have been butchered at some point? I seem to have 2 cores (green and white)...
I’ve had a go at tackling the fuel filler area - be kind..
When I dismantled it, it’s clear this was the worst rusted area on the car.
There should be 2 holes holes and a rectangle, however rust had disintegrated it..
I removed the filler cap which ended up snapping..
The old rivets were...
New 520x90mm plate on, I was going to use double sided pads but non were included. So screws it was.
Also fitted new inner tie rods, gaiters and track rod ends. The grill was also missing some clips so had RPD send out new ones. Also purchased engine cover stainless screws off eBay and put them on.
Great work Steve! I’m currently refurbishing my Arctic blue 182, but the efforts you have gone to make mine look poor! Haha
Keep up the good work, and can I ask, is that Goonzquad’s YouTube music playing in the timeframe videos? 🤣
Passenger sill finished off, tried to straighten the jacking point, rubbed off all rust bubbles and treated them, covered over with primer.
Gave the front end a clay bar, removed the plate as a new one is on the way.
Fixed the washer jets and leaking Reservoir too (MOT fail precious time)
Trying to diagnose the ABS/ SERV light, my friends diagnostics pulled up these 3 codes.
Anyone have idea what they refer to, or will I need Clip to pin point further?😎
Some more movement on the 182.
All the interior is back together, seats Bolted back in underneath. Swapped the cat over and sold it to the cat man, not happy with the olive joint so chopping it off and installing a fabricated connector that I made on the flamer project
All new shocks on...
Some more updates on the 182!
Pretty much finished the rear now, bumper is back on. Cleaned up two alloy wheels which were heavily pitted.
Brushed down the drivers sill and protected with primer. Still working on fuel filling surround. Side skirt is now back on.
Working on OSF arch. New...
Rear underneath all rust treated and Hammerite painted on.
Polished up the exhaust, haven’t a clue what brand it is.
Just had a delivery from RPD, so threw the new rear shocks on.
Cleaned up the rear beam, wire brushes, rust treatment and soon to paint with black Hammerite.
The rear callipers look brand new. Had a sift through paperwork they were installed 2017, along with discs, bearings and pads. The brake lines are also Goodrich
New Catalytic Converter just arrived too.
Some more progress since I’m home and isolating away in the garage..
managed to fix the leak🤞 scuttle panels blocked.
Jet washed the carpets and cleaned up the interior
Removed both front arches and side skirts to remove the normal soil build up and give the sills a good scrub.
With the...
Due to C-19 and visiting Thailand, work have forced me into a two week isolation. Perfect time to tinker with the 182!
Saturday morning I had the car dropped off, and was able to have a nosey.
The ‘slight leak inside’ was actually a swamp. It had turned the carpets white. My first job was to...
The standard loom for the spots plugged into pre wired connector on the car loom near the horn (left wheel arch), so unsure how you would hard wire it from scratch..
