Well if it's definitely not an import, then I can't understand why they need proof. It's UK spec and as such will have the alarm.
Maybe try calling RUK and ask if they have the installers details on the system?
The alarms are fitted at the import centre when they land at the docks, before delivery to the dealer.
Does it have a small red LED down by the gear stick?
Yeah I'd say it's had front end damage, new grill, poss new bumper, but definitely a spray job, and the new headlights.
The bumper stickers, which are a dead giveaway as no one replaces them and they don't come with a new bumper from Renault -
Yeah those are the cheap projectors with angel eyes too...

That's why your lights will seem rubbish. If you had 182 xenons then I'm pretty sure you'd have no complaints.
You need a pair of these.
*edit* Your car also looks to be missing the front bumper stickers so I'm...
Yes it does, but you need to provide your insurance with the installers certificate, which should be in your owners manual (assuming it has the alarm?).
Alarm is Cat 1.
Immobiliser is Cat 2.
They self-home, if that's the correct term.
Doubt you'd notice it though, if the car hasn't moved between the lights being on then there'll be little, if any, movement.
It's a dash top off job, yeah.
About 13 screws holding the dash on, once that's removed it's a 5 minute job to swap the dials (providing they're like for like).
