I checked that. I was going to adjust it but found it could not be adjusted so I physically bent the bracket a little but didnt seem to make much difference.
I always brim it then use it to do the same again. Back end does not feel anywhere as sure footed as my Williams :/
This looks awesome. Not a lover of the LY inside tho. Finally a 197 with the engine it always should have had :)
If your using it as a daily what sort of mpg are you getting?
I think these springs are 30-25mm drop. Would anyone want to swap the rears at all? They only a month old.....
I'll take a couple more pics tomorrow to show how it sits. The fronts have gone down another 10mm but the rears are as they look in that pic above.
I dont want to adjust the headlights u want the rear lower. Once its the hight I want ill adjust the headlights if I need.
Just need to know if anyone has cut a little bit off the rear spring? Im guessing it will lower it another 20mm on rear.
Hi all. I fitted my lowering springs the other month and they did feel ok. Now the fronts sit nice but hard and the rear is too high and soft..... I was thinking to cut half a turn off the little pig tail on the rear springs. Anyone else done this? My headlights are pointing to the floor so I...
Wrote the RSTuner stage one map to the 182, cold start is loads better and does tick over better. Had to buy the Performance map tho :dapprove: this should come with the RSTuner as standard in my opinion.
Hmmm, I've been on the fastchips site and its looking that they want an extra 49 euro for the 98RON overrun map.....
I bought the RSTuner new with the impression that you could choose what map you wanted. I've been sent the OEM 97 RON map that I cant get to work anyway.....
I'll not spend...
Iv clicked on download and it saves wherever it should but its not the map I want and I cant load it to the bloody ecu anyway. Iv probably ballzed something up. Ill uninstall the lot and start again at this rate.
He sent me a couple of YouTube vids but they were of no help due to the map file not being present.
So got to wait till tonight for reply. Im at work now so ill be up to pester him until I get the map I want.
Iv no fault codes to show.
The email Henk sent does not show up in the "write cal" option.
How do I download the map I want? Do I need to email fastchips again? I cant seem to find what I want.
Iv had the unlock cod3 sent then another email with a zip file with the othe map but I WILL NOT load? Iv message Henk last night at 3am and he just forwards YouTube vids.
Iv watched the vids and all that comes up is my original Calibration map not the new one. Pissing me off now. Gotta wait...
It has decat hence the elm light. (Now reset it with 90 degree spacer)
Not sure on make as Dan at 519 done it. Had diagnostic and that was the only fault. Iv unplugged every sensor one at a time and took it down the road with no change to hesitation.
The hesitation was due to the pre cat lambda. It was toast. Fitted new one and it better but still does it at 5k.
The eml light only came on after I put the decat on so iv reset it with the RSTuner.
Im hoping the map will sort the hesitation due to the car going alot better when its on...
Really? Ballz. :/
Iv got work tomorrow and wanted it mapped to see if the annoying hesitation goes.
Iv cleared the eml light from the dacat. Put a spacer in the post cat lambda so hope it stays off. Was going to go for the overrun map ;)
Hi all I thought id purchase a new RSTuner from Fastchips and iv still got to wait for the code.
Iv emailed then the number required and sent them the ecu screen shot as asked at 11am iv been waiting over 4hours for this bloody code. Wanted to have it sorted and mapped by now.
Anyone else...
Fitted a new pas side fog as mine was misted. Fitted the Skoda chin spoiler and fitted the 519 Automotive red lowering springs.
Still need 20mm front and 15mm rear wheel spacers.
Its been replaced so sorted now. The eml light came on a couple of days after the decat was fitted so that will be back on again soon. Best try the Lambda spacer and hope it works.
Right then.
Been to Dan at 519 and had the timing checked. All ok.
Diagnostic brought up the pre cat lambda sensor was dead. Typical I'd checked all sensors apart from that one! DOH.
Bought some lowering springs off him and just fitted them. Just need some spacers front and rear now. ;)
