I had a wind noise from my top door seal over 80mph. I basically bent the top of the door in by a couple of mm and its all quiet.
You sure its the vent and not the door seal?
Seems to be changed as one go with the cam belt.
Mine was not. Its had cam belt but the dephaser is quiet so ill get both done in a couple of years if iv still got the car. Anyone want to see the headlights iv polished?

Using Sainsbury high octane. It was on normal 95 fuel but its made no difference. I only toed it the once to see if the hesitation was there from cold I had a theory that maybe the power restriction sensor was playing up. Iv just ordered a coil pack so should be here next week. Hope that cures it.
It only has a iat and map sensor on the plenum? Will it run if I unplug the map?

It does not miss fire at all so doubt the coil pack.
It happens at the same rpm all the time in all gears. Also some times the rev limit kicks in at 6700rpm when its just warmed up??? Very odd.
If I unplug the lambada sensor and drive it will it go into fault?

I ended up buying this car he fixed the suspension top mount and car drives lovely. Mint inside with only a couple of minor marks on bodywork.
Iv polished the headlights to get rid of the nasty yellow fade. It has a cat back scorpion ss exhaust. Apart from the hesitation iv found when it comes...
Iv cleaned the oil and it looks to be coming from the cam cover. Its not bad at all as said before looks as tho they missed the oil filler and splurge all over the head. Luckly not in the plug tunnels tho.
Not sure now iv chucked the boxes for them. They do have a fine electrode tip tho.
Iv been searching on here and someone had a similar issue it turned out to be HT Leads so I'm picking some up at 3pm before work and will try them 1st.

Ah bum iv just put the BOCH equivalent of the NGK in as they only had 3 of the NGK. Iv also cleaned the throttle body as it was crapped up.

Plugs look a little lean. Does have some wear on lower electrode so ill replace them with what ever the book says. Has a cool 10 heat rating on the current plugs. What plugs do you lot run?
When I put my foot down the car revs then picks up at 5k but backs off at 5200 and feels flat after picking up like it did before 5k. This feels odd and is definitely not normal.
I dont have a code reader at all. No fault lights at all.
I was thinking maybe change the fuel filter but it backs off every time about 5200rpm and continues to feel like its being held back. Puzzled.

Hi all. Iv picked up a nice little 182 with 66k on it. Very clean car but its very hesitant on full throttle it picks up better at 5k but backs off a second later and pulls the same as it does before 5k. Feels a little wheezy?

Hi all just picked up the 182 today. Has 66k on clock 54 reg. I noticed that when I test drove it it said 46 or 48mpg?!
Iv taken it home and while booting it the power seems to surge a little. Im thinking its because its a bit coaked up and needs a good thrashing?
