Nice one. That would explain why my car had gained a funny noise 3 weeks ago and a slight burning smell. The alternator bearings were on their way out!
18 month old 172 15000 miles and the alternator burns out late last night!
To add insult to injury I had to wait 4 hours in -2 degrees to be recovered!
With the ignition on I know it normally makes a noise but now the noise is different. You hear the normal noise for 3 seconds then an electrical arcing/shorting noise then normal for 3 seconds again etc??
No lights on the dash, and 8mpg down on fuel?
I have driven this car myself, and i thought when i was driving it i must of been a celebrity, because every body looked at me!
Yes thinking what a fool!!!

Your car looks
I was told this on another forum I use:
No contest .....Zymol hd cleanse followed by Zymol wax........no residue better for the paintwork.......other than that dont buy a black car ...........but still use the above product whatever the colour as it is the biz............
Anyone know...
O.K. mate but why was it that I polished it a few time with super resin and after that I did half the panel with colour magic and the colour magic side was 10x better?? i.e. no small swirls and the gloss was better too.
Which polish or wax do you guys prefer? I used to love Auto Glym super resin followed by extra gloss protection. I used some cheap colour magic today it masked the swirl marks far better than the auto glym, simply it looked better?? What is the latest product for that showroom shine?
Thanks...
If someone opens their door onto your car in a public carpark and causes damage to your car, can you demand their insurance details as an accident has therefore occurred?
If you had a witness and insurance details are refused does that constitute failing to give insurance details at the scene...
