I have a boxer dog that just loves footballs,
for some reasone whenever kids are out on the front playing near the cars he seems to escape the premises and get the ball. We have at last count 14 full size footballs torn to shreds on the back yard. The kids are gradually getting the message. I...
Cliopower What are you on about? They will be offering me £300 for compensation. i have paid money for the car the car is on my drive and it belongs to me. How can it be the property of my insurance company they gave me the figure they wanted to buy the car back which was low because it costs...

Trouble is the police instructed Burrows of Huthwaite to remove the car as it was blocking the carrige way then it was transfered by my insurance company Liverpool and victoria to GK Ford. At everystage i warned everyone that i was buying the car back and not to remove stuff from the car. I even...
While my car was in storage at GK Ford Mansfield, one of the toe rags who works there has nicked my brand new k-tec K5 Backbox and left the centre section. The f**kers only nicked my alloy centre caps last year when the other valver was in there for damage inspection. The insurance co wrote off...
Your mising the point of the initial post surely a 1.9 diesel turbo is not the same forced air as a petrol turbo. the power delivery is completely different.
The diesel will feel very torquey at low revs and punch you away from standstill but will run out of puff very quickly. petrol and...
Its always worth going in gove em some sh*t they diserve it reduce them to tears if you can. At the end of the day you have paid for the privledge. They might build these french rockets on wheels a little better if we all complain together
The Valver eventually got evaluated at GK ford, they recon its gonna cost 2.5k to repair so its a right off, most probably gonna buy the car back off the insurance. Does anyone want it cheap in tact? It was near perfect prior to the crash. The only damage is front bumper, bonnet, slam panel...

Trust me m8 the whole front end has been pushed back alot further than yours , and the chasis is twisted it would need jiging back into position and think the suspension is fooked.
No chip no cams fully standard, the oem manifold heatshield fell off and melted all my cables so i made my own...

I had a mk2 172 in titanium silver its no way as good as the exclusive.
Before anyone flames me i am in the unique position of owning both so can be unbiased and the mk1 exclusive is loads better. Lighter faster etc.
It had BBS Alloys. im sure the bonnet isnt heavier as its the same part no...
thats probably something to do with the fact that they are a proper limited edition which will remain unmolested and never to have 2 more releases diluting the fact that its limited unlike the williams/cup and v6
Also runs and hides:D

Yeah he drove mine round aswell got it airborne a few times while explaining the finer points oh heal toe and left foot braking. He must be able to do the track blind folded as he was facing me and talking to me most of the way which was very un nearving. :)
Dont have a dremel type thing so whats the easiest wayof polishing the aluminium manifold on the 172. Just want to get rid of the pits and oxydisation and then rub down with autosol. Would a small orbital sander be ok and then some wire wool?
I have just sprayed the plastic plenum cover...
