Well I had this from 17. Bought it brand new for £3200 iirc. Loved it to bits and had soooo much fun on it as mates had them too. Put a full DEP race pipe on it, re-jetted the carb and removed the airbox restrictor. Used to go off the clock at 80mph and surprised many of cars off the lights :)...
bought one today, went for a 9812rb as i have had one before and they are s**t hot for £200 imo. only gonna be running components up front and i will have them amped anyway!
the ride on the h&r's is very good. Far far better than the f'ks on my dynamique.
I will be going to Northampton motorsport i think then to have my camber correction bolts installed and all properly set up in the next week or two.
Yeah it will work on any p3 no problem but dont expect miracles as said.
I think service pack 2 really stresses it alot more though. Put windows 98 on it, will be fast as f**k lol.
i dont have the camber bolts in!
apparently it runs slighty negative camber without them so i am going to see what tyre wear is like with them like this and so long as its ok i will keep them without the bolts in i think.
I have cut the plastic out where it rubs with a stanley knife and bent the metal back a wee bit but still it rubs on islands if i take them a lil quick.
It's only in one place so has someone done anything else to stop this? I dont think its as low as my 1.2 and that dint rub this much!
