i did a similar thing (well the wind did whilst i was tipping out a bit more polish)
i just stuck some touch up paint on it......... hardly notice it unless ur looking for it! all u can do really
dont do it mate
it will look disasterous on 17s!
anyway forget about the crappy warrenty......... get that b**ch down on the deck! ull only invalidate ur warrenty for parts related to the lowering!
there was a thread not long ago about this
apparently the bumper needs to be remoulded or something = expensive
would be nice if it was a easy-ish job!
yeah the wheels look remotely gold in the pic....... actually very yellow! some gay pink accessories......... and a guy driving! :S
we were trying to get some paint for gf's ax and a new wiper blade
just fancied a drive really thought we'd pop by
saw this beauty park up in trowbridge halfords today
god knows how someone came up with this idea and actually thought it looked acceptable let alone good!
a failed (very yellow) attempt at gold wheels i think.........yummy!
ps. sorry if its anyone on here! lol. I just hope they...
mine is annoying and doesnt run the high idle most of the time i just have to give it a bit of a rev and it goes onto high idle and sticks there for a minute or so.
when its dark my lights dim when i change gear as the revs drop off and it nearly stalls
i find mine starts ok in almost all...
the top one was alright but it was made of plastic (carbon effect) and prefer the noise of a foam filter to a cotton one. also viper is a much better fit & better quality
plus fancied a change
im thinking about getting my engine cover colour coded........ hmmmmmm
i havent really had a chance to drive it much but it doesnt seem to be much different although appears to pull harder from lower down.
this could be because the filter is clean though......
the cold air feed is going to the area where it is as std (behind the light) as there is a vent under...
well my viper turned up a few days ago so i have had the joy of fitting it today.
before (well sorta)
after
£200 & a few layers of skin later and the engine seems to be pulling better from lower down. maybe its my imagination.........
its a lot quieter than i thought it would be but...
the state of the roads these days is completly out of control!
all our council does is temporary fixes.
the most recent one they have made a trench sorta bump across the road into a friggin mountain! 2 weeks on the "fix" is already starting crumble
i feel like writing the council a letter...
i have a bit of a problem but not so bad...... just start off slow and then pump away ;)
also sainsbury's in street seems to have bigger pipes as the frigging thing got stuck in the hole! lol
i dont find it very intrusive
even on an airfield day i still felt i had control over my braking rather than the abs controlling how fast i could stop/slow
fair enough in the snow its bad but thats extreme conditions and just have to take it easy
my 1.6 does this i think although only while crawling along in traffic
ive just been pretending i cant hear it......... although its happened since new so assumed it was normal
