when i saw the signs saying 'M4 jct 18-17 closed' i was getting a little worried.
good job i needed fuel so went home via bristol

trying to get those damn bungs out was a pain...... as was the fact i forgot about the alternater cover completely after i had fitted the bumper back on so had to take it all off again
and it was in the dark and i lost a screw for ages
other than that........ it went...
well ive just got in from doing it
bumper had to come off....... couldnt get my hand down the back far enough to undo all the clips
then found out theres a little plastic blocker thing that stops water getting to the alternater but it didnt fit on the 172 one properly so cable tied that on...
it will be stupidly expensive but u need ur own policy
not only to be legal but also to build up ur NCD so its cheaper in future.
my 1.6 insurance was something stupid like £1500 when i 1st got it. and that was when i was 19.
has come down loads every year since then (now at about £775 @ 22)

take a bath..... and let water settle for a bit.....
remove the top film where most of the sweat would settle (i think?) and then just use most of the water then leave a little bit in the bottom where the heavier dirt would be
luckily under wessex water i dont think...

yeah i had a similar thing with a cavalier in wells....... although i was braking for a fox running across the road and they must have thought it was a threat on their manlyness or something.....
