it can be tricky to get perfect when your not sat in the drivers seat, but all the same you are paying for a service. how much did you pay for alignment?
its so easy to get right too, just make sure the steering wheel clamp is holding the wheel perfectly centre, and when they do it get them to explain to you how they do it and check it, just stand and watch them
i do it for a job mate. the steering wheel is part of the tracking. four wheel laser alignment right? ive done a couple of fellas cars on here theyd tell you how i do it
mate mines the same, must be a design problem, after trying lots of bodges ive decided to get the £70 together for the rs 192 de cat! tried different clamps, paste, silicone you name it ive tried it. best fix so far was a new clamp from renault (stonger than aftermarket ones) which is £6, and...

like i said nip it into another local garage to you, most will have alignment equipment and see what they say, if its out you have something to take back to them. i work in millimetres not degrees so couldnt help too much
