Mine did that. and i needed a new box. But Renault warned me 6 months before that i had a small leak comin from the box, so get the gearbox oil checked. Mine started jumpin outta 5th! Which is unusual to say the least. Then 4th, then 3rd. and on the way to the garage it hopped outta 2nd...

I tried to modify the standard box but kept stalling, too much air i think. Would this mean if i added a viper or hillpower i would need the ECU remapped?

Are the hillpower gains higher than the Viper?

I agree with Jonto. They are a superb handling car, and a track without the need for top end power the FRP would give most cars a run for their money.
