I see what you mean now. This is on the other end of the part im taking about, so those connectors above are at the rear over the axle and the bit im talking about is on the other end at the front.
How do you remove the handbrake cables/get the new ones connected back up, it looks like the...
The connection im looking at is just beside the passenger wheel arch. it was a 2001 1.2 16v facelift. Now 2l 172 engine. Currently the abs isnt hooked up anyway so i think i might just swap the axles and see if i come across anything
the original car was an expression so probably not. I needed the stalk with the buttom on the end to work the trip comp so thats why im using a dynamique stalk! not much of a big deal i still have constant and fast if i cant get it sorted
Quite bad pics but the phone is all i have around. My bad its a black block connector but yellow on the inside- which i presume is off the 172 loom from the conversion. the other connector goes back into the axle i think and doesn't fit. the new 172 rear axle has no long connecting wire or i...
Sorry should have mentioned, the conversion has been done so the rear axle is all that is left, im looking at the yellow connector on the passenger wheel side and cant see how it will connect to the rear axle, the block thats there doesnt fit and theres no long wire from the 172 rear axle...
Just about to change the rear axle and was just wondering if the on the 172 where the axle connects up for the computer to calculate abs etc, is it the same type connection block used throughout the range i.e 1.2 16v. I have a yellow female block just under the passenger side of the car coming...
Does anyone know which wires I need to re-arrange for position 1 on a dynamique wiper stalk to work on a 172 loom?all other buttons work just the position 1 (intermittent wipe) doesn't. thanks:)
Take off the plastic trim closest to the door, if you look you will see the arms that dig into the runners to stop them sliding just push them down! Id also check that the handle that lets people into the back is still taught and the cable hasnt snapped
I like the black and yellow that you have going on but i think the bonnet might be a bit too much black. Maybe colour code the plastic trim black!. Some carbon door pillars too
Some pics of what I got up to at the weekend, Having spent most of the time writing research proposals I took a few hours and got these done. Took some pics there, and quite literally went inside to get new batteries for the camera and it was near pitch black. it was like half 6!!!! Better pics...
The originals covered in alacantara, or depending on what colour the current ones are you might get away with dying them.then sell the ones you have or just dont buy them
search the threads and it'll come up, 5 door 182. I darent look at the total cost, most of it was done by myself and kept the cost down. To do it you would be lookin at close to 3k i would imagine, with the options of decreasing the price wherever you can
