I like the 3/4 its just filling the bumper recess thats the problem coz a smaller plate sometimes looks odd
I've got standard sized totally plain plates on mine in irish font thats approx 10% smaller than UK font but the same style. Subtle and clean looking but doesn't attract unwanted attention
This is the scenario...
The car always starts fine doesn't matter if its hot or cold and it always idles fine when cold, if the car gets up to full temperature then i go back to it say half an hour later its still 'warm' but it will idle lower (700rpm) than normal (900rpm). It only idles...
Is it just me or does it not have any wing mirrors? crash damaged ??

Looking great mate
Silvervisions and plain plates are something i always do as its the small things that make the biggest difference overall
You have PM
Just get a second hand standard one mate, they're cheap enough now if you keep your eyes peeled
Don't give your insurance company any excuse to up your premium
As Tom says they won't fit unless you get phase 1 or 2 headlights with indicators and a phase 1 or 2 bonnet all of which is cheap unless you want a valver bonnet
You can keep your phase 3 bumper on when using the phase 1/2 headlights and bonnet
Should look tidy and subtle when its done

The magnecor leads aren't cheap:

You could always just wrap the existing in red hose marginally wider than the lead diameter
