Its defo a crash damaged Mk1 that been patched up cheaply with mk2 front end parts i.e. no zenons, no renaultsport upper grill coz of the cost plus its still on the 17's from a Mk1 rather than the 18's of a mk2
It'll be about 150bhp at best
'Subtle body kit' you mean random collection of bits... looks like a Prima front splitter, R19 skirts and a saxo spoiler
'Fibre glass front wings' you mean the standard plastic ones
Lol... ebay at its best
I wouldn't buy one without seeing it on the car first as the fit of carbon bonnets is often awful from the few i've seen
That sellers feedback is made up of tiny sales of 'bits and pieces' all from a handful of repeats users not based on the bonnets he's selling
My black valver, bought it standard sold it like this...
Bought a black 172 as standard, did the basics stealth exhaust, splitter silvervisions, eibachs, wheels
Bought my second valver so sold the 172, modded it to make it mine... this is how it currently looks:
I'd say a full tank is approx £40 for normal unleaded
Best i've got is 365 miles out a tank thats at steady 60-65 motorways speeds
Round town about 260 with the gauge showing 1/4 tank remaining
I work in shields but i'm always out and about
Haven't seen the willy 1 but you see a different crowd of cars during the day compared to what i see about in the evening when i drive over to see my gf
Nice i saw that car in south shields on fri parked up at the garage on the western approach
I was tempted to stop and ask who's it was as theres so few about
Cups were only about 11k new weren't they?
I remember being offered one of the last ones for £10700 new cash by a main dealer just before the 182's came out
I'd say 9k is about right to the right buyer
Tyre Spot on Scotswood road next to the big Tile Centre will be able to sort out your exhaust if its not hanging right... mind you if its a standard system then they're crap and don't last 5 mins so it could be worth investing in a stainless replacement
I imagine its the joint under the column. If you lie on your back in the foot well and spray some WD40 into the joint it should sort it... it did on mine anyway
Make sure you take the steering lock off when you spray the WD40 that way you can move the joint and allow the WD to work in...
