like 'em both, chavy or not depends on style - got 17s
personally 16" graphite turinis are the best upgrade for a 2.0 and are so sought after that they are the ONLY ones that would add to saleability/value
37, £290 FC with business use.......Natwest Insurance
............. including declared mods, speeding fine and two claims in last 5 years (drive-off car-park damage by unknown wan*er & a roundabout shunt by me!)
what is WOT? passed MOT OK!
just watched the vid. of my laps on my mates mobi (passenger seat).
I did catch the 16v on approach to corners (as she was braking), but she did leave me standing -
fuelled by adrenaline with a bit of smoke and mirrors I guess :-(
as i said ...... who knows if it was having it's neck wrung - obviously not!
and I never EVER said it would 'beat' or 'match' a standard 19 either
cack out the back? - clearing it's throat - hope it wasn't like that on lap 2!
nice, but including post that £500+ with 'cheap' tyres!
could get MINT 182/cup wheels for that?
OR I got graphite 17's with quality Yokos for 595 @ Carnoisseur
NO probs with rubbing 40mm drop & diesel (drops more like 45/50 @ front due to weight)
I've now had over a dozen PM's about the mods to my dCi 80. (Superchips with extra fuelling programmed above 3500rpm to cater for top-end easy breathing thanks to K&N panel filter)
To give you an idea of what 100+ bhp & 172 lb/ft feels like, I let a colleague drive it.......
He said...
I'm well happy with my 'Superchips'
they do use standard, but have several they can try and test drive to check best.
BUT, they did personalise mine by setting 'extra fuelling' between 3500 and redline @ 5K since K& N filter fitted.
it now 'boosts' at 2K+ and revs so cleanly that I had...
only managed a few corners at a time, but I was surprised at how well I did keep up!
He was OBVIOUSLY quicker accelerating, but up to 50 this was negligible (we touched 80) and thro corners I could easily hang on.......
........ but then who knows if he was wringing it's neck?
