Yeah but a Zetec-S is a 1.6 16v 105bhp whereas a Williams is a 2.0 16v 150bhp...I hope you did destroy it! My mate bought my old one and I destroyed him in my 172. I let him get to 80mph and then floored it past him :D
I used to have a Zetec-S and I used to love it...nippy little car and a good handler. Wanted more power so went for the 172. Build quality of the Zetec-S was better than my 172!

Def springs all round Ive lowered mine 30mm on Eibach springs and fitted 17" ACE 197s (ET40) and I have no problems with scrubage. People who have ET37 alloys have problems with rubbing on the arches so you will need to mod them if you plan to go lower. The older (pre 98) Clios were torsion bars...

On paper the Cupra R is the same as a normal 172 but in EVO the in gear times are quicker than a Clio Cup. From a standing start the Cup is quicker, but I have to say the Cupra R looks the dogs.
Clio Cup - 40 to 60 in 3rd = 4.2 secs
Cupra R - 40 to 60 in 3rd = 3.2 secs
Clio Cup - 60 to 80...

Thats right Wayne...Ive got Tarox Fast road pads all round on mine...the fronts are the same as the new Laguna (with the wear sensors chopped off) and the rears the same as the 16v
Just been into the garage and the demostrater was sold last week and they are hard to source as they are only making 500 per year for the UK. Waiting time is 12-15 weeks. Saw one that was in the garage for a service and had the Recaros in it. Very nice but it was in Black and I would probably go...

Im going to pop into my local SEAT garage on Sat as I think they have a demo one and give it a whirl....Rumors of a 250bhp one coming out next year is what I will be asking about!
If I get one first mod will be a dump valve......psssssssst!
