    rwaterman Id be very very way of buying a nearly new cup with say less than 8k miles on it, you have to ask yourself why are they selling it so soon? If I was buying a second hand Cup Id get a note of the reg number and Vin number and goto your local Renault garage and see whats been done to it...

    The Cup is really really crap for long journeys, the suspension is a nightmare on long trips when your doing 80 mph it really pisses me off and its also very loud at 80 mph. I would definatly get a red 172 is I was doing 100 miles a day.

    I had to top mine up @ about 5 k miles as it was down to the 1/4 empty mark and the light came on, topped it up then got it changed that weekend.

    Yeah but if a willy was making 160.... My Primera 2.0 (cams, manifold/downpipe,panel filter, exhaust) made 170 there.

    So 172s were making 160 ish and on the same day a "230" HP 3.0 V6 24 valve Clio only made 208?? the_GZAs cup (ktec exhaust and panel filter) made 182 hp and 140 lb ft @ Star performance, the same RR that 007 made about 160 in his Willy.

    more VVT ponderings..

    How would the VVT system work if you have changed to wild cams? Would it feck up?
