i wouldnt call tyres brake discs and pads extras, you wont get far without them lol
its not the best price tbh but its about right as it sounds you got it from a dealer
what you mean the head needs doing?
never had an f4r that used any oil tbh
i would be looking along the lines of oil pressure switch or maybe a gasket or sump plug or just any obvious signs of where the leak is coming from
Re: 1.2 Track car Conversion
Not the easiest way to go about it

personally id look at a decnt set of coilies
and get some second hand shocks for the rears for now
i bought 2 for £30 an take 10 mins to replace
you will be amazed how different your car will feel on new shocks compared to fubared ones
why 2?
the second one just controls the emisson lights (says if the CAT is doing its job basically)
the first one affects fueling so that is the one that would need changing
tried anything like coolant temp sensor or thermostat? running at correct temp etc
Redline is a very good magazine and now the only one I buy
Never thought that would happen as I was a 'fastcar' addict
Pure performance and no bullshit...most of the time
Ill buy this one tommorow
my understanding of it was
Category A and B write offs should NEVER be returned to the road
Category C write offs can be returned to the road, but will need a VOSA test.
Category D is the lightest damage category.
didnt realise cat b can go back on the road otherwise it would be cat c :S...
Alfas dont always go that wrong have a look at mine
that should be up for sale at the end of this month
the italians have a smaller electrical budget Lol but ive been in less relaible VW's
how much did you sell it to him for?
just wondering if he has done it to make a profit?
because otherwise why do all that work to sell it cheap
PH is laughable i dont think i have ever had an electrical fault on any one of my 8 clios
