ok on a major thread day today :)
ive been having quite a few electrical problems, and the other day when i pulled off the drive i thought i could here wtaer sloshing about
and as i moved the car i noticed water was all over the floor (rainwater for sure)
anyone had this before, i think as...
ok mate
the coilpack is only around 30 quid so going to pick one up tomoz then try that
water has been sloshing about somewhere (maybe drainhole under scuttle blocked) ?
and i think thats whats causing all these electrical faults
if its one of the coils definatley then wouldnt be much point checking which one as i may as well replace the whole coilpack?
could it not be one of the leads?
its literally just happened, been fine till now but think water has got in somewhere as alot of water was underneath and the electrics...
as above on my phase 1 172
i thought the cat had shat itself as it sounded a bit like a scoob
but after a run im thinking could this be the coilpack??
or would people in the know say the cat??
the shakey engine makes me think its misfiring
also no warning lights and fault code reader...
as above, my cat is fubared
is the double barrel cat the only one i can replace it with
i have mot due within next couple of weeks so i need to replace it
thanks
Resistor is far cheaper
and as for airbag and serve up permanently look in the guide section to remove that
the resisor should do the same job as the airbag in terms of what the ecu reads
Well the amount of cleaning this car needs is making me appreciate my old silver phase 1
some "good condition" shocks and eibach sportlines turned up :dapprove: (yes they turned up packaged like this lol
took all the crap off and resprayed them red but they havent turned out great but...
OMGZ done it since i passed and had a claim
nothing was ever said but yes the proper way would be to say your main driver and have your dad as a secondary driver
