^ or one of the lambda sensors is fubar'd, like mine was

Pre-cat affects fueling so could be this

Post cat lmabda reads to see if the cat is working, if not it activates the emmisions lamp on dash

code reader will help you here

The light comes on if one of your o2 sensors is naffed.....a diagnostic machine will confirm which one and they are very easy to change.

This bloody light came up in mine last night halfway down the motorway from Belfast

It ok to drive the car until you fix this?

If i need a lambda/o2 sensor - where is the best place to source one?

Thanks
Trev

PS - the car seemed to be running as normal the rest of the way home with the light on the dash, which is the worrying part! lol

Anyone had any other problems throw this light on, apart from the lambda sensors?
