His feedback isnt good
Looks like he doesnt deliver the goods if the auction doesnt end high enough for his liking
The name Alex doesnt ring any bells on here
My mate sold his 172Cup on a 03 with 14000 miles for £7200 very recently had it advertised for ages with zero interest
Theres 4 Cups on the forecourt at my local reno i was there today
The sales man said hes sick of the sight of them coz there just not selling
Insurance wont be too bad just a matter of shopping around
On motorways 60mph is 2500rpm giving you 50mpg as said above 70mph is 3500rpm
A chip, decat and stainless steel system, ITG panel filter or viper will give you reasonable power gains for little money

Thats a crap price on your 172 and a crap price on the 182 considering your giving then a part ex
They basically dont want your 172 especially with mods Id sell it private for 6k
Ive seen brand new 182s with cup packs for just over 12k brand new
Dont do it mate... im sure others will agree
Youve lasted longer than i thought 20 mins already... cant see it lasting much longer

Seems like top price to me aswell baring in mind im selling mine for £7700 with less miles and a few tasteful mods that could be sold on
Id be checking for stone chips on the front bumper/bonnet as a sign of being raced
Check the tyres they come with contisports on them so if your luck...
Visually the only difference between the Mk2 172 and 182 front end is the grey background to the light clusters rather than black
The 172 Cup had a marginally wider track due to the wheel offset
182s come with stockier 205 width tyres rather than the 195s supplied on the 172
Own both and the 172 is deffo quicker in terms of straight line speed in standard form
Round the corners theyre both pretty good
I prefer the driving position of the 16v
