imo its a waste of money to upgrade from a 1.4 to a 1.6 saying that - im happy with my 1.6 giving me good fuel eco & not had any problems with it

yeah ive driven 1.4 + 1.6 - 1.6 slightly more torque but not really any faster i drive like a pussy anyway so i cant really say how fast the 1.6 is lol

nah just rince the bubbles off after a bit and let it dry on its own

mine looks nice after cleaning rince it down with hose pipe -> bucket+sponge with car shampoo (autoglym - pretty cheap) -> let dry -> wax with turtle wax (the coloured stuff) or original turtle wax (cheap) job done

think most people end up cutting it off (take the top silver thing off 1st) but it is possible to get it off by twisting it with grips or sommat apparently

if u have to push it close just put ur fore arms across (so hands meet over the middle bit) so it spreads the pressure but makes u dirty! never had a problem doing it that way but just dropping it is easier.....

i had the exact same thing! i just put on some chip stick and polished over the top.... dunno about a proper fix tho
