yeah im at nearly 5k and even tho the car revs a lil bit freely the gearbox is still not quite right.....
too scared to introduce it to the rev limiter.......
lets face it...... if some1 wants to get in ur car....... they will
i say - wheels (600 odd) - lowering springs (100 i guess) - IK (100ish) and exhaust (200ish)
then when u get enough cash - chip it
thats my opinion (probs a load of crap) lol
im using back to black at the mo (as it was on offer)
but also got some of that auto glym stuff fred mentioned which i used before but back to black is better so far
basically on my 1.6 16v clio ever since ive had it (4 months or so) every so often when i start it up it goes and idles at about 1k revs (when cold) but it feels real lumpy? like kinda feels like its bouncing up and down a lil
kinda hard to explain? but does anyone know what i mean?
nah it wont go in cos of that flap design (brilliant in theroy by renault) - i expect u could do it somehow by padding the bottom to lift it clear of the flap? cant reme how the mk1s go
i got my 1.6 16v a/c dynamique for £8856.53! pretty chuffed with that (had to wait a long time) but it was from a normal renault dealer
HOWEVER that was a mistake on their part cos the price they sold it for was a mistake printed in their price guide! OOPS by them but good lads for keeping to...
i just use auto glym stuff!
what i do isssss
rince to get most dirt off
then get it all bubbly with bodywork shampoo
then rince the bubbles off
then do all me black bits
and polish (or just dry if im feeling lazy)
i would of thought it would be fine........ as fred says.....60mm is a minimum! or so he says
get coilovers...... problem sorted ;)
nah seriously it should be alright
the fks look v.good for the price....... im waiting for the cash to get em (well and to let the warrenty run for a bit longer incase something f**ks up
