yup sounds broke to me seriously tho i dunno wot it could be - 20mph in 5th wont do much good either less right foot at higher revs would be better (2.5kish) usually works for fuel eco for me

anyone tried that new esso super (forget its proper name)? its quite a bit cheaper (86.9) than optimax around here just wondering if its up to the job?

this time of year i geta few worse mpg than in summer? strange i thought....... at the mo 50mpg (few mpg either way depending on my driving) on a run & 42mpg during the week (5 miles ish to work in jams) i drive like a pussy tho lol

never hit the limiter - take it up to 5k about 2 or 3 times a week (weekend run to gf and back) only once been up to 5500

yeah during the week i dont go above 3k revvs (as its only 5 miles to work) then weekend give it a good rant to get the old oil moving an even better reason to be happier on friday.....

id keep the 1.4 - afterall i dunno about anyone else but my average speed on most trips is about 40mph due to speed limits and such......
