Cup size what planet do you live on? A APR s3 will beat ur Cup pretty easily, a standard one will the same but above 100 the standard S3 will beat u.

Well teady did consistent 15.0 @ 96 mph last time he was at Crail and fluffed a 4th gear just b4 the line and still did 15.0 so I know his 172 is capable of a 14.9.

And also the Cupra R has a 6 speed box. So comparing times in gears like you did above aint going to be very accurate in determining the fastest car.

Geoff all those times are in the lazy gears try comparing the 40-60 time in 2nd and thr 60-80 in 3rd.

GR I really think you should go for a 1.9DCi, and i aint taking the P there is no need for you to have a 172. A little dci will be plenty fast enough to take you to Ikea/Tescos!

I didnt get to race the S3 jsut as well it would have raped you BIG style.

GR I think a little 1.2 8 valve clio would be more suited to your needs. Bit of a waste using a 172 as a shopping car.
