your just pissed at your hill power breaking.
the feed is the most important thing, there are a few 225 owners with homemade £45 induction kits that produce lots of power i.e 12-15bhp. A maxogen is a waste, rip off £400+ for 1hp more over a proper feed.
us 172 cup owners are doomed then, no side airbags and no abs lol
honestly though look at these two pictures, which seats would you rather be in ...
look at the sides where your legs rest..
in a bucket you have side impact protection, these particular seats can withstand 3000lb`s of...
erm would you like to ring the guy from hillpower and say that ? or mention that to the many hillpower owners on this site who have had decent gains.
my cup pulls WAY harder now from low down AND at 100+ since fitting the kit, i have the standard airfeed + a custom bumper one without any twists...
stumbled across a website, didnt read too much, apparantly increases economy by 2-4mpg and torque also rises ?
sounds like a load of poo but hey im open minded

^ i do know the weights, i was asking as the rear of my car is higher without back seats.
interested in eibach dampers how much they set you back, where you thinkin of getting them from ?
also where you get your apex from ? BBPT do a 40mm set that they claim actually does do 40mm and there...
as i understand the cup needs 40mm to look same as 30mm on 172 FF is that because the FF are heavier and compress the spring more ?
anyone got any pics of cups lowered on just springs seen as they are different
hellooo,
right, ive decided to give coilovers a miss for a while. i also decided not to spend more than £250 on any one thing for my cup unless its only a bit more.. i.e an ecu swap for the R-sport from BBPT.
whats the lowest springs avaliable for the 172cup ? is there a 50mm ?
also i need me...
dont bother making a replica v6 as most turn out cack and money can be spent on miles better things imo, especially on a 172, for the price of getting everything right you could have throttle bodied 172 which arguably sounds better than a stock V6 or a least as nice.
ohh and power to weight...
ohh and lol at same mpg, im getting 38mpg on average from my cup i can get 40mpg ive not been in many modern performance petrols that can manage that :D
