since when has a 150hp fr 1.8T 180hp 1.8T or 160hp 1.9PD cupra been faster than a 172cup ? the weight of a cupra is much greater than the tea cup and it only has a minor 10hp defecit. if your talking tuned, i.e 225bhp cupra, then why not tune the cup with a decat £150, induction £??? depends...

yup 1 sec ova the 1/4 mile is a big diffo. chris, with thr r-sport did you fit the cone decat then remap or does the new ecu take into account higher airflow etc.. also with 14.2 did you have back seats in or run special tyres ??

cup spoiler is a nice design and fits with th car imo, trophy/v6 spoiler may have better highspeed stability ? but either way the cups does look better.

il do a search tonight. i have it bookmarked on my laptop a company who send out the tuning box by mail and get really good gains. a dci 100 intercooler wont be hard to track down at all. + you could get one made or order one from a DCI tuning company (again il try look tonight)

actually a 182 is 1090 (172MKII id 1110 but 20kgs diffo is the spare wheel and tyres kit ((ive weighed it in my last 172)) a 182 cup is 1080 i believe and given the aluminimum dampers and recaro seats id say a trophy weighs the same as a 182cup if not 1075`ish only thing is quite a few 182`s...
