I just got the Goodyear F1s for my dads GTV..i think in 235/40/17 fitment. I cant tell the difference between them and the Contis so far..but considering theyre top of the tyre tests at the moment (and probably significant at the minute being better in wet conditions than the contis) i think...
Yeah Liverpool Victoria are only good if you have a modded car..but you have to be the right age for the insurance group of it. Im with them and pay a grand more than directline just so i can do mods..but then ive made 2k worth of mods so its not all bad.

Sounds like the caliper guide bolt(s) wasnt lubricated properly. If the caliper doesnt slide on the bolt(s) easily that would be it..and you will need to replace them. Unless you know what i am on about take it to Renault.

My tyres have been sealed so there is no need for a spare wheel..i dont need to check tyre pressures either..bit of a result for a woman surely?
The Cup is quicker everywhere than the 172..no offence to 172 owners but the official figure maybe 0.3 seconds but it feels noticeable after driving...
RPM you recommed before fitting..? lol..hmm
K-tec dont make springs..they get someone else do it so find out who the company is. Eibach are a good company, and all 172 owners seem to sing their praises..

Have you had the car re-aligned? A solution for correcting excessive camber is to grind out the mounting holes on the strut to allow further movement or cheaper and easier is to get corrective bolts if anyone does them? I suspect your alignment was out before you lowered..
BenR knows about...
yeah im stuck at the undo everything there is bit Do you pull/push/move to side? I tried pulling and ended up ripping a row of them off!! Dont suppose youll be at the bluewater meet on sunday?

Id get looking in auto trader for a used one..i personally think anyone who gets a new relatively pricey Renault is a bit crazy because of the horrendous depreciation. It wouldnt take long to find a female owner who uses it gently.
The new car experience is always nice..but with a Renault..it...
Exhausts..filters are pretty futile means of adding power. Unless the exhaust system is restricitve youre looking at a few BHP here and there..
Getting an exhaust and filter, ECU, and a rolling road session could cost close to a grand..and for 10bhp..worth it? I think not..
By all means do...
Well at the end of the day its a FWD with all weight over the front so the back tyres arent as important at the end of the day..and if its track work then whats wrong with having less back grip? As long as the treads not completely gone of course!
Dont have a mixture of brands though..

Hi April, your spare is still ok for your 17s..the difference is a matter of mm so as long as you dont cane it about youll be fine. Otherwise do what i have done, sealed the tyres for £80..im guaranteed not to get a puncture and i dont have to pump my tyres up again..

My 1.2 has crap economy on the motorway..but then i never go that slow, and being in fourth for just a few seconds really makes a diff..
Flowing B roads doing about 50mph are the best for mine..i get to 48mpg.
Anyway yeah with the Ecotek, send it back! Ever heard of the saying "If it sounds...
Theyre 172 skirts. Actual ones, not sport accessory kit ones. You can see where they dont line up as they go with the 172 wide arches as well normally.
