Try taking the post cat sensor out and give it a clean (not with anything silicone-based though!) then refit it. It will probably have been 'polluted' whilst the pre cat one was faulty as the car will have been running rich.

TPS - Throttle Postition Sensor?? Can't see that being affected by the foglights though. Sounds like a dead short of some sort so you'll need to check the wiring. If I remember correctly the fog loom comes down the passenger side of the bay, to the first fog then accross behind the bumper...

If the car is running fine, which I'm guessing it is, then it's not the pre cat sensor, it'll more than likely be the post cat one. They're interchangeable by the way, but the pre cat one is the important one.

Could be the post cat sensor, just a thought? ;)

My 2001 8V didn't have a sunroof, I'm not sure if that applies to the Mk2 ph1 as mine was a ph2.

The splitters are easily retro-fitted though, the suspensuion is a little harder. I'm going to say it hasn't got the Cup suspension pack, but it is difficult to say for definite from those pics.

So even the immobiliser light isn't flashing?

Mine was advertised as a 182 'Cup', only from the pics could I tell it was a 182 FF :)

If you put the key in the ignition what does the red immobiliser light on the dash do? To be honest though, even if the immob was dead you should still get the dash lights illuminating. Have you checked the main -ve connection from the battery to the block?

It could still have the Cup packs though, different wheels will often signify the suspension pack but they may simply have been changed. The cup suspension sits slightly lower, but you'd be hard pressed to tell. Do you have a picture of the car?

You can use one for fault diagnostics without the need for unlocking codes etc. If you want to use it to program a new Map on then you'd need to unlock it to use on yours and then again to give back to whoever you borrowed it from.

As long as the system is in two pieces then yes.

Well generally the cheapest a PE2 can be had, fitted, is in excess of the £100 mark. If you can get them for £62 fitted then you've found the bargain of the Century :)

What size/profile/tyre did he quote you? There's alot of variables on a tyre. Michelin Exalto's are one price, Exalto 2's are more expensive.

Very strange. Might sound stupid this but have you ever had anything done to your brake lights? I've found out through various means that the CC continually monitors the brake light circuit and if it detects a fault (blown bulb or similar) it will disable the cruise. Mine doesn't work as...

Does it not work at all? Do you get the SET---- display on the dash when you press the dash switch? Does the green dial light illuminate?
