what deals are sky doing when push comes to shove for hd? whats everyone paid? i already have sky plus and been with them 10 years but they said £249 when i called them today
been onto them for 41 minutes so far, they deny they said it would be 4mb so when i ask for the name of the person i soke to on the 20th december when i placed order they refuse to give me the name.....at a total loss and they say they are holding me to contract only when i said i have been...
the saga continues.....
to recap....
i pay to have a new line installed to improve internet speed from 0.2mb....
tests done prior to agreeing which confirms 4mb will be the speed
on phone to bt who say line will only handle 0.5mb.....
now going mental with some t**t
round using my brothers connection at moment, it was a whole new line both external to house and new cabling in house as well, get a dial tone, bt say no problem with line other than the intermittent fault......
Gave them until sunday to get line fixed and get me the 4mb they confirmed prior to ordering line i would get, they confirmed again today thats what line will take, otherwise wanting a refund of my cash for new line and cancel my contract and then go to local cable company
Writing this using my mobile as i now have no internet connection, no internet light on the homehub and bt say they cant explain whats going wrong with the line, getting really fd off and now been on phone for over an hour, cant believe i had to pay to get a new line and its going so wrong
actually had a whole new line put in house as old line could only take .5mb so before paying what i did they advised new line would hold 4mb, bt wholesale are looking at fault
bt finally fixed whatever fault was on my line today but confirmed their is an ongoing fault which seems to mainly be between 11am - 12.00pm and 7pm 8pm which they are monitoring.....broadband speed has gone up from averiging .2mb to what this says..from bt's speedtest site..
does this mean...
just around 1pm, was just leaving new inn after lunch and it was flying through, couldnt catch number plate...girlfriend said she thought it looked squashed.....
just called them re my slow net speed which is hurtling along at 0.2mb....they installed new line last friday and was to be 4mb......just spoke to a very nice lady who confirmed the broadband isnt actually set up due to a fault on the line.....asked how come i could use net and she advised that...
