just very slow between 0.25mb - 0.5mb through the day, my one query is with bt when i called them at weekend they actually alleged my line had been cancelled, they then worked out they still had to update their records to show number had been moved from old line to new line, i cant run the bt...
does this 10 day period actually exist or do bt just talk cack to prevent phone calls from me asking why i am getting 0.5mb after having a brand new line put in which they said would be 4mb!
sat in g/f's flat with my new laptop, just managed to connect to connection called G604T_WIRELESS....unsecured network....this is not the g/f's does this mean a neighbour has not set their system up properly, anyway they can tell someone else is using their service?
bt advised from running tests it would be 4mb, wasnt paying £135 to get same s**t speed, just off phone to them and after telling me i wasnt a bt customer for 10 minutes they have advised line is in optimisation period so to call back in 10 days, on the old line it was the up to 8mb chat i got...
had a new line put in by bt yesterday as old line could only handle 0.5mb, was told new line would be 4mb, not up to but would be 4mb, just tested it and its 0.7mb, on phone to them well on hold 30mins and ongoing, what sites do you use to test your line?
