true the diffo between my 172 ( fast one aswell) and my cup with 89kg - backseats is amazing.. i got fairly trounced by Focus RS in my 172 now i have the cup its still faster although now the RS is sporting a full stainless exhaust + dump valve + blue fin but only 5 lenghs to 125 which isnt bad...

id prolly want the carbon for athestics also.. what is a pin down and is it a target for vandals i.e does it make it easy for peeps to get into my engine

cool, il save for some mods before doing this then to take advantage of the situation

i would get a map done with induction, decat, cams, and if possible a 182 manifold should see 195 i would imagine if done properly.

cheers james, although my main scratch is on the cup side strips so they look like a faded colour of the original paint if you know what i mean, dunno if there all like that but everyone ive seen doesnt seem to be the same colour as the body.

bonnet weigh for the 172,182 ? i know when i lift the standard bonnet its fairly heafy and i rekon 12-15kg so can anyone tell me the exact weight please... also where to buy danka --phill--

awesome, the most impressive thing is the cars looks, lowered, splitter, decent wheels, carbon bonnet looks stunning for the frist time in that colour due to a bit of beefing up.

tbh its not horrid, the only thing i actually like is the new steering wheels look small and chuncky, where as in the 172 its massive and bulky

so why do you need a steel frame ? i thought maybe the monaco`s everyone is going for and have installed on here may have had extra bum padding hence weight ?? surley the imola`s are a good bet too ? 6.5kg each £184 each ? am i missing something other than the £118 price tag of the...
