lol, 14 to 100 !! the standard 172MKI does 0-100 in 17 secs minimum usually 17.5, i wouldnt think losing 3 secs from your 0-100 time would come from those mods hehe.
nice vid though, the speedo starts at 10mph remember, i have one like that i acuratley timed 0-60 in a amazing 6.7 secs so thats...
nup.
the MKII 172 weighs 1110 kg (not much really)
MKII 182 weighs 1090 kg (20kg`s less due to no spare and kit)
MKII 182cup weighs 1075 kg or 1070kg ?
MKII 172cup weighs 1021 kg 89kg less than MKII
MKI 172 weighs ??? its not as light as MKI`ers go on about i think...
two fixes there, again another silly comment.
so basically its the engine mount ? i had mine replaced one under the battery and it still does this, so il have to try the manifold fix, what exactly is dont to the manifold
not bein funny but ive driven proper fast before around lots of roundabouts and never had the backend come out on me ?? sure its squeeled and backs slided but im always modulating the throttle if it leaps a bit i back off quickly but smoothly.
how the hell did you do it?
im assuming you mean 90kg lighter cup + 6kg saving on the wheels.
i didnt need my back benches anyway and took em out + lugage bar = 15.5kg so im down from 1020 to 1004.5kg in the cup now, thats 105 kilo`s lighter than a MKII 172 and 6 all round lighter running turinis for unprung weight of...
hehe slam it ? why would you need to mess with £500 + dampers each and renault settings, its all setup perfectly thats the point, you cannot get more out of the chassis i would imagine, putting new springs on would feck the dampers settings.
the trophy will always be that hight, i could be...
dunno if larger injectors are needed tbh, but i imagine with cams and then adding some manifold work in i.e inlet you could see a good gain.
basically it aint cheap or easy, and its detectable mostly by insurance investigators so not like a turbo weasle with a hidden and switchable remap ala...
.. but with induction i may add it would be in real terms about 183hp
get cams and althoughs other mods come together when remapped and then 195 would be possible.
rapido
surley your assuming the 172 has 172bhp in this equation to start with ? most have 168bhp so i dunno if a exhaust + panel filter would add 7bhp, probably would with a remap, add induction for anther 3 when mapped and you could i imagine see 10bhp with a zorst, induction, remap (remap is the key...
the worst response to these threads is "learn to drive" "dont floor it in 1st" etc.. stupid comments imo
last wed on the way to work both my usual ways in were blcoked with traffic i had left enough room in the road to turn around safell go back to another route without traffic, however the...
though it was subtle and a good all round advert, it will win over joe public and we buy the most clio`s.
sure its not quite like the audi adverts lol but its a different target market. cheap and classy and i agree the newer renaults are better built than ever, with such cheap prices how...
needs a bigger tv for the ps2 m8 and hope you have two controllers and fifa 2005/6 to play on
nice setup all the best, its great to finally see lots of young semi-pro`s going it alone on reno hardware rather than the usual Vag tuning companies and jap tuners. we have GDI, Angelworks...
really ?
so when i get H&R`s on my cup and some rainsports il be beating a ferrari f430 if it was a gohst of me driving the ferrari i.e same driver.
for some reason i can belive this, rwd slick`s almost and 400+ bhp in the wet isnt the best for a supercar.
