Cheers, I'll have a play with the bumper bracket and see what I can do. Is there any part of it I shouldn't be cutting off?
Gouldy, do you have damping adjustable coilovers? Mine are 1 turn off the stiffest on the front which reduces a fair bit of the scrubbage compared to the softest setting.
**UPDATE**
Ended up buying some -90mm springs off Joe and due to the rear adjuster platform bolts being seized in I've not put them on, but I ended up taking the rear platform adjusters out for some more lows. Given just that added but of lows, and I actually think its pretty much perfect on...
I'm rolling with 5mm spacers so they don't rub the coilover. if I space it more it'll just rub the same if not more due to the angle of the arch and the metal. Tyre stretch could be the only way, but f**k that. the metal is only about 5mm in height so wouldnt make much difference.
I see loads...
So basically I'm trying to get my coilovers as low as possible and make it still drivable.
I know having it super low will ruin the handling more. However I wound the coilovers down more yesterday, went for a drive and on every bump in the road the front wheels scrubbed the arch liner, however...
Yeah, Doing what rob and I said will probably be best. You'll get some more experience and IMO be a lot cheaper than getting the bodyshop to plastic weld it.
Just caught this.
Awesome you finally bought one, I keep looking at them more and more these days. Plans sound good, those 5zigen Fireballs are suppose to be deafening though! How you finding it?
You'll have to be a paid member pal. It's £12, but well well worth it. Loads of guides to access, access to the marketplace that will save you £12 anyway. Oh and you get some free stuff with the membership too :D
This actually looks Capsicum from all angles though. Unlike your's :p

Pretty sure it is too. Check the drivers door, colour code is 727.
Looks like its had a bit of a bump/front end respray. As the mouldings at the front have been replaced, the splitter has also been painted (which it shouldn't be) and if its a dynamique it should have fogs, which yours doesn't.
This is crazy. If you are happy your work is up to scratch and you're sure someone else will be happy with them. Refund the guy what he was orginally asking, take it on the chin and sell them on.
Which bit can't you get off?
The front moulding:
Open door
Insider the door there is a black plug, pop that off
look down in that hole and there is a plastic bit that presses in to release the trim
get a flat head screw driver, press that in and pull the moulding towards you (towards the rear...
