Dont see the point in a chip for the 1.2...completely invalidating the warranty and you will still get beaten at the lights. -Rob

Most of us are fans of optimax, i only use it in fact. Id agree that it doesnt need running in, the Cup engine is bench tested and 172 owners have found caning the car seems to pay off! -Rob

I have had to buy a 19 inch tyre of there and it was half the price of most retailers! My contis were much cheaper too. Just because they cant compete on every single price doesnt make them overrated, its a quality company! -Rob

You get what you pay for at the end of the day, id expect they dont last as long as a better tyre and the performance wont be as good. So really in the long run you wont save any money. Remember tyres are the things stopping you go off the road, get the best you can afford! -Rob

I can only account for the new model 1.4 16v: 1) group 4 2) this one a 16v 3)98bhp/112/10.5 to 62mph (maybe a tad conservative) 4) Not sure of spec, any sport orientated version should have fogs though. Hope this helps. -Rob
