KTR Exhaust

Does anybody know what type of power gain are expected (if any) from a KTR exhaust. For a 1.2 Dynamique.

I curently have a viper IK and im getting my ecu remapped in the next couple of weeks.

i know the wilcox engineering rr didnt seem the most accurate, but i gained 14bhp from a filter and full ktr zorst

still would expect the gains to be nearer half of that, maybe 8 or 9 bhp at most on bbs rr when i eventually get there again

I was wondering the same thing for my Clio Alize! The only reason i was going togo for a K-Tec over a powerflow was if there was a bigish power gain! Ill probs jsut go for the Powerflow now!

I was expecting something like 2bhp. How much are the Powerflows or would a de-cat be a better choice.

Dont see the point in a chip for the 1.2...completely invalidating the warranty and you will still get beaten at the lights.

Thats wre your wrong. Well on your first point.

The ecu is remapped throught the diagnostics port leaving all the diagnostics intact. This makes it invisable to any reanault dealer.

You might want to think about getting your cup chipped. They claim 190bhp.

Im getting it all tested on a dyno so if it does work I wont get beaten by as many things at the lights.

I dont get how the ecu thingy would work, obviously its adjusting the fuelling and surely a dealer would be able to see something as obvious as that? Ill await your results.

The dealers dont notice the passenger seat hanging off its runners, or the lack of oil filler cap when theyve changed the oil, let alone be able to use one of them new fangled puter thingies!!

Ye I phoned them up. They havent updated their web site yet. They do a before and after dyno. They said I could try it with and without my viper. (They dont rate iks). Ill let you know the output when i get it done. Should be in the nexted 2 weeks. Got to book some time of work as they cant do it over weekends as they go racing.
