removing splitter





from mk2 ph2 clio 1.2 16v dynamique,

mine has suffered the usual problem of tearing at the end, need to remove the splitter so i can have my colour coded one fitted

any ideas how to do this??

i am aware i need to remove the front bumper, advice on how to do this would also be appreciated

if theyr wot i think they r, then they are like torx screws

(i think but not sure :confused:)

well thats wot the mark 1 uses anyhow!!
 


yeah, i have had a look and there is 2x T10 torx screws, just didnt know if there was any hidden ones
 


Does the interior on the door panel have to be removed to get bumpstrips off btw, and what about the back part of the bumpstrips not on the door?

nope rob, you have to get you fingers in from below (oooooeeerrr!!!) the door one slides towards the back of the car and the 1/4 pannel one sides to the front of the car

Start where the door meets the rear 1/4 pannel and pull the bump strip up at the corner and ram your fingers under it (its hurts a wee bit, but you are a man!!!)

Have the door open
 


rob - we are on about the front splitter here - the t10 torx screws are at the corner of the splitter right at the front of the car, have a look and you will easily see them

the side mouldings easy to remove - exactly as fred said above,
