Yeah but weighing up costs it would be sooo much cheaper to get another car. In your case Daz a valver can cost under £3k.
After the engine you have to think suspension, brakes, gearbox, cluch etc and it would still probably be worse than whatever model you were trying to emulate.
Thats what...
I essentially know what i need, but theres always something id forget.
The disposables like tyres arent really a problem as ill be able to source them for no cost.
I think what ill end up doing is not using a Cup, in fact it was probably me being too exicted to think about what i might...
Mines still holding together, though second gear is very very suspect! Im having a hard enough time trying not to crash into people going through roundabouts opposed to going around them!
Dont bother with powerflow to do that, use a proper company. A side exit can give bigger gains as there is less distance from the engine, used in DTM etc. Get hayward and scott to do a better job, powerflow isnt good enough for a 172!
It cant beat the black stuff in my view as you cant go head to head which is a major part. But getting the rear out so easily..its just beautiful..and im talking about a poxy 206!
Looks like ill have to have a little looky into the Group N, A etc
It was a safe grand cheaper than the others, including Tescos and the other ones people rave about being the best thing since sliced bread .The fact is there are no good insurers for young drivers. There is a quite a big difference between insuring the 60bhp model and 75bhp one.
Hope so!
Maybe i jumped in a bit too quick then, ill try and do some more research at the weekend. Rallying is tops though lads and ladettes, give it a go!
lol a joke, hence winking Mr Horne.
I was thinking of other add ons a CTR owner would think of, when buying a car most people add on a few luxuries.

Your lucky as some insurers are not using the PP discount as it proved no difference was made.
Most insurers care about how much you paid for your mods. If i was in your position i would get the nicer wheels off of the current clios (15 inch 5 spokes) and then lower it on some budget springs...
The problem with that is you have to trust the previous owner.
Surely i could cover most initial expense with sponsors?
Eddd what would you consider the basics id need?
I have driven 206 GTI a lot, prepped by Peugeout for group N. It doesnt seem that different from a road car:
Stripped...
Not sure about the XSI, my mate has a rally and thats already too slow. I know its all fun but i dont want my arse kicked!
At least it gives an idea of what i need to get.
BTRDA N1 winning car - whats that?
