I think well both go mad before i can turn you back to liking the 172. Grip is one thing, feedback another. In oversteeri was correcting with both hands on the CTR, on the 172 i was using the palm of my hand, that surely gives an idea of the confidence factory, theyre poles apart.

If you cant tell where the limits of the car are how can you push it? Maybe if i did have a CTR for ages i would know how to drive it inside out but i should be able to jump in and at least have fun.

Surely if i drove a 172 or Cup for weeks id be faster in those too?

Well they seem to of knocked off 2 seconds from the 0-60 unless it was heavily modified

Minimal gains can be made im sure but nothing special, it would be for a nice noise if anything.

lol steve you cant help but defend the CTR! EVOs times are 7.1 secs for the 172, 6.5 for the Cup and 6.8 for the CTR, i think all done on different days, probably by different drivers, so we can safely say bullsh*t to every single stat!

I cant see how a CTR would beat a focus rs like that to be honest, unless he simply reacted quicker from after the speed camera.
