Its only ever italian if the driving position is ape like. I fit in the back of a GTV ok when the passenger seat is moved forward a bit, and im 5 foot 11. The way the seats are sculpted decieves the amount of space there actually is. Besides, the interior is a thing of beauty, the Fiats isnt. -Rob

My 1.2 needed a top up at 7000 but i changed it all. I dont see why youd need to empty and refill, a top up will suffice. Change it before your service.

Well i think mine was a bit of a bargain, i got an extreme which has the cd player and a few bits throwed in. I also got Climate Control as on the 172 for free from the dealer! The chassis is good but far too much roll personally but its not for performance buyers lets face it. Brakes are ok...

I think the main rival at the time was the Vauxhall Calibra, which i see a lot of, so maybe that took away most sales and led to its demise?

Yes, the corrado whilst not being the best looking thing in the world was a good handling car, the best of the golfs bits. Performance should be safely better than yours too, its a league ahead to be honest. Youll probably have more fun going round the corners but your mate wont be slower.
