There is no systems check as such on start up, only a lamp check. The fault is more likely to be the brake pedal switch. Do a search it's fairly common and Renault should be aware of it! Mine was sorted in 10 mins under warranty!
If you replace the airbox with an ITG induction kit then a CAF is a must to be honest. If you simply replace the panel filter in the airbox for an ITG one then a CAF wouldn't really be needed. :)
Would do yeah mate just haven't got the ramps anymore but I know somewhere that will rent me some if you really want to? Don't fancy doing the zorst off a jack! lol!
Connect the red (+ve) lead to her red (+ve) connection on the Rover battery. Connect the black (-ve) lead to the main chassis earth point or black (-ve) terminal on the Rover battery.
Then try starting the car.
The quick tapping noise is probably relays clicking if the battery is flat.
My dealer are usually spot on and even replaced the full seat on my 1.2 as the stitching was fraying (sp). It's not in a normal wear and tare place and seems to be a defect, it's on the top corner just above the tilt/slide leaver on the passenger seat.
I presume it is and my dealer is usually pretty good at replacing things but just thought I'd check here first :)
Some of the stitching on my passenger side front seat seems to have come away near the tilt/slide handle and the leather has split. Do we think this will be covered under warranty...
Oil gauge goes up to show you the oil level iirc, it goes back down as once the engine is running the reading would be useless :)
As for the temp, no figures but it looks normal.
Yeah I did everything myself. Bought a full set of everything so I could keep my standard parts.
Done to date, dash inserts, gear knob insert, steering badge, door badges (2.0 16v) and front diamond. Debating about the rear because I know it's a pain! ;)
Basically sanded everything down to...
