I dont believe its re-programmed unless its for something like accounting for no air con, which isnt really a difference. It produces the same power/torque at the same revs after all. Throttle response is only better because the cars lighter.

The thing ive found with motorcylicts is where they can go fast (and often do) they seem to think they are the absolute dogs, but in reality probably cant ride one within 5/10ths of their bikes ability.

It would probably be cheaper for me in the long run to p/x my car for another 1.2 and get the free insurance now im 18 then get the same deal and get a cup! Its soo unfair you lot get your free insurance while i have to scrape up the pennies every month :cry:

David at k-tec was at GTTuning for years before setting up k-tec so hes hardly a novice.. They keep up to date unlike bb tuning, quick to respond to demand, they are admittedly expensive but everything they have is of excellent quality. Compare their websites, bb tunings is a joke! -Rob

I was thinking of getting one of those 86bhp Puntos as its a very good ouput for a 1.2 but my mates one made a lot of dodgy noises and overall quality was poor so i backed out.

It was showing more than that but i found it a bit difficult to believe as my dads old DB7 had over 100bhp more plus better aerodynamics and is said to do 175mph. Has your dad done anything else other than engine mods to the S8? Whats the stability like? and hows that box doing?
