Jay, is this a job you can do yourself, the adjustment of the brake light switch or are we talking dealer only?

:bump: does anyone know how, or indeed why having new tyres fitted would cause this problem? Also is there anythng simple I can do to adjust/rectify as I don't really want this fault hanging around until Renault get to look at it?

Cheers, it's going in for service anyway in a couple of weeks. Just annoyed as fitting the tyres seems to have caused it!

No, just the ESP & Serv lights.

Had 2 new PE2's fitted to the front yesterday, and today whenever I drive on the motorway for more than a couple of miles the ESP and Serv light both light up constantly. These never showed before so I'm certain it's something related to the new tyres? Also it switches off once the car is...

No trouble at all, although it did make the ride harsh, but I wasn't too bothered about that. Got minor rubbing at the rear with 205's fitted so added some 5mm spacers and this cured it. No rubbing at the front.

My old 1.2 dropped 60mm and on OEM 182 16" wheels;

lol, you're making an easy job sound very difficult! I did my front pads a week or so ago, took me less than an hour all in. The front shocks do not have to be removed and even a spanner should undo the caliper bolts, they're not that awkward to get to.
