Yeah, check the earth to it, I had this once on my 1.2 mk2 ph2. Cleaned the earth connection and it never happened again.

It sometimes happens in normal driving, but only at sustained speeds and after say 20-30 mins has passed. Normal nipping to the shop etc and it doesn't come on. Done probably 50 ish miles today and it only came on 4 miles from home at dual carriageway speeds.

Tyres are exactly the same, same size, profile, make etc even down to the speed rating! Nope, never had the steering wheel off mate.

When I fitted the washers to my 1.2 all I did was release the bumper from it's fixing in the wheel arch. I then removed the top fastening of the grill on the slam panel and the bumper simply popped out of the wing and then pulling it forward I had enough room to fit them. This I repeated on both...

The bumper doesn't need to come off. The washers are £7 odd each from Renault.

Use a socket set, 19mm IIRC this will help keep the key straight.

providing they're the same engine then yes, ie not going from a 2.0 onto a 1.2.

sounds like the adjuster in the headlight is broken, in which case you need a new headlight.

Right, I think I may have found the problem. I've had both wheels back off and found that some sections of the old weights hadn't been removed by the tyre fitter. On the rear of the offside wheel there was 2 sections of the old weights remaining. I presume that at speed this would give the...

No probs, measure your discs also and you may need solid or vented as I found out. My 8v had the larger vented discs than most 1.2 8v do.

Halfords will be fine, I bought my 1.2 discs from local motor factors for about £40 for the pair. Pads are circa £12 a pair.

It may well be, just seems strange to me. Ah well tomorrow's tasks include removing both front wheels to check all sensors/wiring etc and disconnecting the battery for 30 mins to see if it clears the module. Hopefully these will shed some light on the issue.

I couldn't separate mine on the 1.2 it was one unit, I masked off the area and sprayed the diamond to suit.

you can't, end of. Sorry lol! It's plastic glued all the way round and would probably break if you forced it apart. The 3 threads you can see are what fasten the boot lock to the tailgate.

lol, I'm sure my dealer is fully aware of any mods I do :) There was never a warranty issue with my 1.2 and I'm sure there wont be with my 182.
