Chaning down gear will always cause wear on gearboxes, theyre not supposed to live forever. Blipping the throttle before changing down to keep the revs balanced will reduce wear.
Id say greenwich is the nicest place. Cool atmosphere, good nightlife, nice park etc etc. There are no cheap places really, some bits of charlton are okish and is close to the centre but it can be a bit dodgy!

Mines a standard new 1.2 16v (apart from clear side repeaters,woohoo!), will have the reg N20 CUP on next week though so look out for me! As you can see from the plate i have cup aspirations too, hoping in about a year ill get one.

Well theres a the little button at the end of the right stalk. You press it to cycle through options like MPG, Range, Average speed etc. To reset it you push the stalk which is in the dash itself
Superleggras are nice but have to get 17s and a bugger too clean. Cant really go wrong with 5 spokes but id go for these dare ones.
