Yeah, havent you now got K-tecs pads and discs..or are you keeping it a secret?! BTW James they are kevlar pads with uprated zinc plated, x-drilled discs, £125 + VAT. You can get beefier discs (285mm) for an extra 80 or so quid. -Rob

I think R33 had a V spec model as well, its basically a more track biased model, theres also an M spec which is in between road spec and v spec.

Thats a point, some cars do max speed in fourth, not 5th as 5th is for overdrive. Would that complicate this maximum revs calculation? Also max power isnt produced at max revs so can someone explain the calculation??

On a full trackday you can completely overheat the 172 brakes and they become pants, the cups better but id still uprate to more track biased pads.

What wheels does that racer V6 use?

I think one would look good on a silver clio. Thing is youd have to get one made up for you as a one off, which could quite easily cost a couple of k. You could go down the essex boy route of just getting a carbon skinned one which wouldnt cost much. Eliminating these safety issues too. -Rob

Ok mate took me in a drive in his VTS last night (it has 16s but no other mods). We got to an indicated 130mph so as the speedos going to be out whats the reality speed? Plus we were on a slight decline with more weight so we would of been giving it a hand!

If youre restricted to those three id go for blue, but i have to say black is the best, as long as you dont mind cleaning it all the time!

Yeah the 125 is basically a scooter with a nicer looking body. They sound bloody annoying! (2 stroke, ahh!). Theyre not that quick off the line really, maybe from 0-30 he might have you but past then and hes screwed.
