I used rover gunmetal or whatever it's called, oh and I masked off the lettering on my 16v badge although that will be pretty tricky on the 2.0 16v ones! ;)
For a 182 Steering wheel and the airbag. I have checked over in the guides section but it's not listed. I have looked under the airbag on mine and there's about 10 different sequences of numbers! lol!
Someone please help me out, cheers :D
Did you drive the car between measuring? If you didn't then the suspension will have been extended to it's fullest when you took the measurement with standard springs mate. Probably meaning the difference will be far less than 140 - 150mm.
I got stung over my plate which was DAZ24 27 instead of DAZ 2427. Full legal font, size and lettering just one space different. It's the ANPR that gets confused with the spacings so you will get pulled, it's just a matter of time!

They aren't bi-polar Brain I have tried that already. As for the door switch I don't believe that's the cause but could be wrong. I think it is more likley a trickle back as you say so wondered if I could surpress it with a small resistor or similar?
Swapped the standard filament lamps in my courtesy light for some white LED ones. Simple enough, but they now glow very dimly when not lit, is there a resistor that I need to fit to cancel this out? If so what value etc? cheers.
Cheers Brian ;) So as you say above, Mr Jo Public, became synonymous with referring to HID's as 'xenons' even though the two are not in anyway linked. The HID's on the cars of today probably use the Sodium you refer to above?
can you please explain that a little more Brian as I'm confused? I'm not doubting your knowledge I would just like to expand mine a little.
As I understood things, a HID is a High Intensity Discharge light, and a xenon light (as in standard 172/182's etc not aftermarket) is a HID light that...
Actual 182 Xenons like Matt is referring to do not come under the post that you refer to as they are the complete headlight so there is no problem with the beam etc. As for the washers/levelling system that still seems to be a grey area although I never had any problems with mine.
